Korean Classes

There are several options for Korean classes in Changwon. Depending on your level of commitment, financial situation and your free time, you can choose from one of the following options in Changwon.

Tuesdays @ 7:30 in Changwon, Jungang- Dong (Free)

Every Tuesday at 7:30 people meet and do a language practice with Koreans in town. There is a facebook group called Changwon Korean Class for students to connect.

MANNAM Korean Class in Masan (free)

Mannam Volunteer Association volunteers meet with a group of foreigners for grammar and discussion.

Tuesdays at 8:00 pm: Intermediate Class
Saturdays at 10:00 am: Advanced Class
Sundays at 3:30 pm: Beginner Class

Walking Directions:

1. Get off at the Sinsegae Department bus stop.

 2. If Shinsegae is in front of you, walk left down the road. If Cafe Rottibun/Addidas/Angel-in-us is in front of you, walk right down the road.
 3. At the second traffic light you will see a Chevrolet garage on the left corner and Gangnam Bank on the right corner.
 4. The building has a number “220” in blue and white and it is on the left side of the road (facing Daekkori’s direction) just before the Chevrolet garage/7 eleven/music store

Migrant Center (free)

The Migrant Center offers classes 3 times a week for free to foreigners. The classes are held Wednesdays (2:30-4:30), Saturdays (2:30-4:30) and Sundays (2:00-4:00). The classes are divided, begginer, intermediate and advanced. They have a semester system, so call ahead to find out when the next term begins. 055-277-8779. These classes are designed for migrant workers as well as foreigners who are married to Koreans, so it may be best to have a Korean call for you. More information in Korean is available here.
