Changwonderful
If you’re an artist of some sort and looking to get more involved, you’re in luck because a social media company based on helping creative minded people has formed in Changwon! I asked Creative Korea to write up a little about their company, as you can see below. To find out more information, see the bottom of the post.
Creative Korea is an online social media company (based in Changwon) helping to showcase and promote creatives’ and creativity in South Korea. They offer free PR for all arts & events.
The Creative Korea team arrived just summer 2014 to begin a new life as English teachers, and Creative Korea is something they run on the side. Currently to date, this company has connected musicians together to form a band or two, connected members of the public to various part time art classes and helped to promote and showcase emerging artists work from across Korea.
The Creative Korea team is also discussing plans to begin a monthly gallery event for many types of creative people in Changwon. This will allow creative writers, photographers, film makers, product designers, painters and so on to have their work showcased and displayed in public for free.
